Adachi has already labelled them as married in her mind. It's amusing how she had to affirm that Hino and Takada aren't married though.

Nice to see Nishimura go all out in the way that she can to get her team to win, and I'm glad Takada was able to run so that she won't feel guilty if he hadn't turned up and her team lost.

I thought it was amusing how Takada was destroying everything in his path on his mission to victory. I wouldn't have been surprised if the other runners were blown away by his dominating speed.

she's a bully TBH she should be completely ignored by the main cast along with rest of the bullies but for some reason the author decided to make her more involved than she should be it's the one thing i don't like about this series

She's been a bully, but she doesn't need to stay one. Looks like she's realizing a few things, and I like it.

Found it funny how she was afraid of looking uncool for trying hard, and then proceeded to look actually really cool for the first time we've seen her.

I used to be naive and think bullies could change but after having too many friends attempt suicide and one actually go though with it I learned that bullies stay bullies until they die they just change tactics to keep bullying and not get in trouble

Well I've seen bullies change into good people. Also suicide has many factors, like bad parents, bad diet affecting the mind, prescription drugs, sexual repression, etc. You can't just blame it all on bullies.

I expected the usual route of Taiyou & Sumire bonding in some way, then Sumire warming up to Akane by proxy. But Sumire was a bit too traditional in her methods to directly approach Taiyou like the typical jealous ACGN rival, so Taiyou would've had to be the 1 to initiate with Sumire.
But Taiyou's had such an effect on Akane that Akane unknowingly used Sumire's jealousy against her to break her emotional barrier.
I don't know if creators fully intended this but these are very good bonding dynamics.

Yeah, it worked for Umi too! Akane basically helped to rekindle her relationship with Hino-kun. "To not only be a spectator", I guess is what she has become, returning what Taiyou gave her 🤔

It was intended and characters even mention how more like Taiyou she is becoming as you will see later on. Basically someone helping your self esteem that you trust will make you believe in yourself more over time.

This reminds me of HibiEupho, everyone was so surprised Kumiko increasingly became more assertive when it was clearly due to Reina's influence.

It would have been a Cherry on top if Nishimura would have ran. But yes It was nice to see Akane finally break out of her shell and trying her Best.
